About Our Parish

About Blessed Iwene Tansi Parish

Blessed Iwene Tansi Parish was established to serve the growing Catholic community in Phase 6. Named after Blessed Cyprian Michael Iwene Tansi, a Nigerian monk known for his deep holiness and devotion, the parish strives to reflect his values of humility, sacrifice, and missionary zeal. We are under the Nkwo Deanery, one of the deaneries within the Catholic Diocese of Enugu

Vision:

To be a Christ-centered parish community where love, unity, and spiritual growth flourish under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Mission:

  • To nurture faith through sacraments, liturgy, and catechesis

  • To promote service through parish organizations and outreach

  • To engage all members in active evangelism and spiritual formation

Parish Activities and Schedule

Mass Schedule:

  • Weekdays: 6:00 AM & 6:00 PM

  • Sundays: 6:00 AM | 8:00 AM | 10:00 AM | 6:00 PM

  • Sunday: 8:00 AM (Children Mass) at St Augustine Mass Centre
  • Last Sunday of the Month: 6:30 AM (Youth Mass)

Confession: Daily – After Morning and Evening Masses

Youth Praise Night: Every Last Friday of the Month – 6:00 PM

Block Rosary Prayers: Daily – 5:30 PM (across designated community stations)
